A year ago, on June 6, 2023, Russia carried out one of the most horrific terrorist attacks against Ukraine - the blowing up of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant.
The destruction of the dam brought many disasters to Ukrainians: 49 settlements were submerged in water, many families were left homeless and forced to leave their homes.
The Unified Information System of Social Sphere of Ukraine (UISSS) played an important role in providing fast and effective assistance to the victims. In the shortest possible time, the Ministry of Social Policy, the State Enterprise Information Center and the Medirent team developed functionality on the UISSS platform that helped to realize the possibility of quick payment of financial assistance to victims from Mykolaiv and Kherson regions. This year, more than UAH 97 million was paid to the victims of the tragic incident.
Our team, as the developer of the UISSS, is proud to be involved in solving such socially important issues. We will continue to work on implementing innovative solutions to support our citizens in difficult times. We remember and we act. We will never forgive russia for all the crimes it has committed!
