In 2000, Medirent implemented one of the modules of its proprietary software suite ALFA.PRO — the Automated Electronic Document Management System (AEDMS) — for the State Tax Service of Ukraine.
The system automated document workflow, clerical processes, and assignment tracking across all levels of the Service. At the time of its launch, the solution supported over 400 users and became the largest electronic document management project in the public sector of Ukraine at that time.
In 2005–2006, additional functionality was developed:
- Case preparation and court support monitoring: the system provided tracking of procedural document stages, vertical oversight by leadership, data analysis, and summarization of legal case outcomes. It became the largest collaborative legal workflow system in Ukraine.
- Data storage and archiving system: the system ensured secure storage, accumulation, analysis, and authorized use of data across all applied systems of the State Tax Service of Ukraine.
