The Electronic Register of Sick Leave Certificates (ERSC) is designed to accumulate, store and use information on issued, extended and registered sick leave certificates to exercise the rights of insured persons to receive temporary disability, maternity benefits, payment for the first five days of temporary disability at the expense of the employer, as well as to verify the validity of the issuance and extension of sick leave certificates.
The ERSLC was developed by Medirent as a functional subsystem of the Integrated Complex Information System of the Pension Fund of Ukraine. The register was launched into industrial operation in June 2021. As of January 1, 2025, 28.2 million electronic sick leave certificates have been generated in the system.
