A centralized three-tier system designed to automate the inspection activities of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection (SSUFSCP). The system is used by specialists at the district, regional, and central levels.

Main functions of the system
  1. Maintaining registers:
    • of market operators
    • of capacities
    • of operating permits
    • of exporters
    • of inspected foreign capacities
  2. Planning and conducting inspections:
    • Inspection planning
    • Preparation and execution of inspections
    • Registration and control of prescriptions based on inspection results
    • Registration and control of protocols and rulings
    • Suspension of facility operations and suspension/revocation of operating permits
    • Submissions to law enforcement authorities
    • Register of complaints against enterprises
    • Appeals of inspection results
    • Generation of reports on the current status of inspection plan implementation
    • Generation of general statistical reports
    • Meeting management
  3. Data exchange with the laboratory test results buffer
  4. Authorized persons management:
    • Register of authorized persons
    • Register of orders approving authorized persons
  5. Inspector management:
    • Register of departments
    • Register of inspectors
    • Issuance of fines to inspectors
  6. User activity audit within the system

As part of the project, the Information System for Supporting Inspection Activities and Maintaining Registers was launched in pilot operation, and training was conducted for users at the regional and district levels.
