For the third consecutive year, Medirent has been a partner of the European Social Services Conference (ESSC) – Europe’s leading forum dedicated to the development of social services and the digital transformation of the public sector.
This year's 34th ESSC, held in Valletta, Malta, became the largest conference in the event's history, bringing together more than 950 participants from over 40 countries, including representatives of governments, public social services, international organizations, academia, and technology companies.
At this year's conference, our team presented its approach to building proactive digital services that help people access the services they need faster and more easily.
With more than 30 years of experience developing solutions for Ukraine's social sector, we believe that the future belongs to services that do more than simply respond to requests— they understand people's needs before those needs are even expressed. Through conversations with colleagues from across Europe and beyond, we once again confirmed that countries are facing similar challenges: how to make public services simpler for citizens while becoming more efficient for governments. That is why proactive services and the use of AI were among the key topics discussed at this year's ESSC.
We are grateful to the conference organizers for their trust and for the opportunity to be part of this professional community for the third consecutive year. For us, ESSC is an opportunity to share our expertise, learn from international best practices, and contribute to shaping the future of digital social services together.
