We continue our story about the innovations presented at the European Social Services Conference 2024!
At the conference, our stand was located next to the SkillLab stand, and this neighborhood turned out to be very symbolic. SkillLab actively supports Ukrainians in finding new opportunities in the labor market, which makes their work extremely important today. It was a great opportunity to learn more about their work and see their innovative solutions in action.
The SkillLab platform uses data about people's unique skills to increase their chances of success in the professional world. The platform not only helps to assess the value of previous experience, but also opens up new career and educational opportunities. This is especially important for those who were forced to leave Ukraine, as the platform helps them adapt to new conditions and find their place in new countries.
Christoph Bretgeld, Director of Strategy, SkillLab and Rintse van der Werf, Director of Business, SkillLab, demonstrated how their innovative solutions improve access to jobs in European municipalities and the State Employment Service of Ukraine. This includes improved tools for assessing skills and adapting to new labor markets, which reduces barriers to employment and facilitates the integration process.This project is a prime example of how modern technology can help people find new opportunities and overcome obstacles in the labor market.
