The CEC held a briefing for system administrators of district election commissions.
The Central Election Commission held a two-day briefing for system administrators of the Information and Analytical System “Presidential Elections in Ukraine” of the Unified Information and Analytical System “Elections” of all 199 district election commissions.
The event was organized by the Commission in conjunction with the developer of the system, Medirent Scientific and Production Enterprise LLC.
According to Valery Stryganov, head of the Commission's Secretariat's Information Technology Department, the training was conducted with the aim of providing system administrators of district election commissions with basic and essential information on the deployment and operation of the system, monitoring its status, and resolving any issues that may arise in the process of working with it. In addition, technical and organizational issues of information protection were discussed.
During the training cycle, Medirent specialists familiarized the participants with the mechanism of deploying the System's software and hardware complex and organizing access to the resources of its central node. The implementation and operation of components of the comprehensive information security system at the district election commission level were also discussed. Particular attention was paid to aspects of using the application software system.
At the end of the training, district election commission system administrators were briefed on the basic rules for interacting with technical support.
