Ukraine has implemented the first stage of the Unified Information System of the Social Sphere's implementation (UISSS)
The Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine has implemented the first stage of the Unified Information System of the Social Sphere's implementation (UISSS) developed by Medirent Group of Companies. Oksana Zholnovych, Minister of Social Policy, presented the results of the system's work at the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers meeting.
The UISSS is a comprehensive system that automates all areas of social support nationwide, simplifies access to public services for citizens, and reduces corruption risks and government spending.
As part of the first stage, the Unified Social Register (ESR), the Unified Electronic Archive of the Social Sphere, the Register of providers and recipients of social services, the Unified State Register of Beneficiaries, "Unified social processing," "Electronic budget," "Social Treasury," Administrative subsystems, the Unified Electronic Archive of the Social Sphere, the Register of providers and recipients of social services subsystems were created.
The implemented application modules for process automation enabled Ukrainians to:
- Receive social protection in the status of internally displaced persons
- Receive financial assistance from the state and international organizations
- Confirm information about disability
- Apply for the adoption of a child through the Diia portal
The UISSS interacts with the Diia portal, the Register of Insured Persons, the State Register of Civil Status Acts, the State Tax Service database, and other information resources. This increases the efficiency of information exchange and saves the state and citizens time and resources.
The Unified Information System of the Social Sphere is an IT solution that ensures the implementation of the Digital Transformation of the Social Sector Strategy. The Medirent Group of Companies created the first stage of the system during 2021-2022 with the support of international donors - the Eastern Europe Foundation, TAPAS, and EGAP projects, the Partnership for Every Child charity organization (a UNICEF project), and the World Food Program.
