On December 1, 2024, the Unified Information System of the Social Sphere (UISSS) was officially put into commercial operation, marking a new stage in the development of social assistance in Ukraine.
Why is it important?
The UISSS is more than just a system. It changes the approach to social assistance, making it modern, convenient and fair. The UISSS operates in most regions of Ukraine and opens a completely new level of access to social services:
- Speed and transparency. Assistance is calculated automatically, funds are distributed efficiently, and all processes are paperless.
- Online convenience. Registration, consultations, and follow-up of applications can all be done through a web portal in a few clicks.
- Support in crisis situations: The system has already helped quickly organize payments to those affected by the explosion of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant, carried out by the russian federation.
