Dear friends, we are pleased to present you our new project - the Automated System of the Basic Network of Cultural Institutions for the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine. This innovative system is a step into the future for all cultural institutions in Ukraine.
What is this project?
The system we have developed is the Register of Users and Cultural Institutions within the competence of the Ministry. The main goal is to digitize all cultural institutions in Ukraine and streamline the reporting provided by them and their employees. The register will help accumulate additional information on the activities and performance of libraries, theaters, museums and other institutions of the core network.
Why is it important?
There are 33 thousand cultural institutions in Ukraine, including about 15 thousand libraries, as well as theaters, clubs, museums, and schools. The registry will help determine how budget funds are used in the institution, which cultural product is most popular, and what needs to be addressed to improve performance.
“For example, libraries - how many people were admitted, how many books were issued and returned; theaters - the number of new performances, tickets sold, a breakdown by genre of performance to understand what is most popular. If institutions are always sold out, what exactly are the budget funds spent on? Institutions should be self-sufficient. The cultural product must be of a high level and meet the requirements of the times, and then the demand will increase,” said Anastasia Bondar, Deputy Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitalization.

Together with the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, we are taking a step into the future of digitalization of Ukraine's cultural sector. Our system opens up new opportunities for cultural institutions and their employees, helping them become even more efficient and accessible to the public.
