The Unified information system of the social sphere (UISSS), whose developer is Medirent, is part of a digital adoption process.
The procedures of national adoption through the Diia portal were implemented in Ukraine starting from 01.06.2022.
The project's main aim is to facilitate the processes and make them easier for the potential adoptive parents, cutting off the number of paper documents and bureaucratic handles, therefore stimulating the number of children who will find their new parents during the war.
The potential adoptive parents can file documents and receive the results of their consideration through the Diia portal.
The possibilities of the UISSS as the informational hub are used during these processes.
The UISSS connects different state information sources featured in processes of social protection of citizens, as well as accumulates necessary data for repeated usage, analytical reports building, and monitoring of social sphere processes.
Currently, such services, which imply UISSS usage, are available at the Diia portal:
- Consultation on the adoption of a child
- Adoptive parents, mentor parents: registration of candidates
- Adoption: registration of candidates
- Adoption: candidacy continuation
- Adoption: de-registration
- Custody, childcare: candidate registration
- Become the second one of the mentor parents or adoptive parents
