Today we will tell you about the socially important project of the Medirent company for the Pension Fund of Ukraine – the system of pension certificates forming.
Let's recall the distant 90s when pension certificates were ordinary paper documents in the form of certificates on a sheet or a small book that pensioners had to carry with them. It often caused inconveniences because paper documents could be damaged.
In the early 2000s, the Medirent team began a project to develop and implement a unique system of mass production and document individualization in the social sphere. The project aims to produce mass volumes (millions of units) of pension certificates with graphic details about the owners - pensioners.
So, since 2004, all pension certificates in Ukraine have been made using software developed by the Medirent team. Certificates were received in the form of a plastic card and became more convenient to use.
Over time, the system became part of the Integrated Complex Information System of the Pension Fund (ICIS PFU), which significantly accelerated the processes of pension certificate ordering and manufacturing.
Recall that the ICIS developed by us is a powerful information platform that ensures the effective functioning of the pension system and its integration and interaction with other state and social institutions.
Thanks to ICIS it's been exactly a year since a pension certificate became available to citizens in the form of a digital document in the mobile application Diia. Pensioners can easily access their documents without having to carry them with them. This simplifies everyday life and makes it easier to use pension rights and services.
This evolution is an example of how Medirent team projects turn paper procedures into effective digital and convenient online services for citizens.
