The purpose of creating a unified register of convicts and persons taken into custody is to create a modern, fully functional system that will contribute to the effective solution of tasks assigned to the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, namely:

• Control of accounting data on convicts and persons taken into custody,
• Information on the analytical subsystem for recording convicts and persons taken into custody,
• Credentials control of probation subjects,
• Effective work organization of authorized bodies on probation issues and proper interdepartmental interaction, ensuring prompt registration of probation subjects,
• Developing prerequisites for transitioning to a paperless system, considering the requirements for personal data protection,
• Automation of business processes for medical support.

The system provides automation of functions such as:

• Registration cards for convicts and persons taken into custody, subjects of probation, persons convicted of crimes against sexual freedom and sexual abuse of minors, accounting of registration cards and their processing,
• Formation, accounting, and processing of personal electronic files,
• Monitoring the enforcement of court decisions,
• Formation of medical cards from registration and processing for convicts and persons taken into custody,
• Accounting and processing of reports on registration of persons taken into custody, convicts, subjects of probation and during release preparation,
• Accounting and management of pre-trial probation, supervisory probation and penitentiary probation processes,
• Accounting and risk assessment for repeated criminal offenses,
• Preparation of diaries for convicts and persons taken into custody,
• Providing information to/from the Registry,
• Generating statistical and analytical reports,
• Other administrative functions, namely:
  • Managing users and defining access rights,
  • Audit of user actions,
  • Maintaining reference books and classifiers.
