It’s been a month since two key services are available on the Diia portal: assignment or confirmation of title/qualification and entry to the qualification exam (CES 6.0) for subsequent receipt of qualification documents.
How does it work?
A seafarer from any part of the world can get necessary documents quickly and contactlessly. All you need to do is sign-in on the Diia Portal, choose the necessary service, fill in the form, and verify it with an electronic signature.
The next step is the signing by the representative of the Shipping Administration and the automatic receipt of an electronic image of such a document in the personal account on the Diia portal. You can receive the original document from the Shipping Administration personally or through a representative. In case of refusal to issue the document through the Diia portal, it is possible to quickly file an appeal.
It is important that the entire process, from application to receipt of the decision of the State Qualification Commission, which the sailor receives in the Diia and by e-mail, takes no more than 5 days.
