How can vital data be preserved during wartime? The answer lies in technology — and Medirent’s solutions have already proven their effectiveness.
As of March 20, 644,986 civil status records have been digitized in the Mykolaiv region using our technologies. And this is just the beginning! Ahead lies the digitization of an additional 2,750,000 records. In February 2025, a project was launched to digitize paper-based civil registry books in the Mykolaiv region. The project is implemented by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) under the "Support to Diia" Project, funded by Sweden. It prioritizes digitizing paper archives of civil status records compiled by Civil Registry Offices (DRATsS) located in frontline areas.
This is the second major state-level project for the Ministry of Justice utilizing Medirent’s technologies. In the summer of 2024, our solutions were also used in a project that digitized over 3 million civil status records from Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Documents evacuated from war-affected areas were successfully uploaded into the State Register, enabling fast and accurate verification of citizens' data.
We are proud that Medirent technologies are helping develop automated public services, which are critically important in the context of full-scale war.
