Ukrainian technologies are more than just technologies. This is an opportunity to receive pensions and social assistance, as well as to get married. They help change the lives of Ukrainians for the better.
The "Medirent" team joined the "Digital Social Forum: Building Capacity Instead of Dependency", organized by the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine together with the UN World Food Program (WFP) and the UN Children's Fund UNICEF.
The Ministry of Social Policy together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation is building a country of the best digital social solutions. The event presented the strategy for the digital transformation of the social sphere implementation and announced plans for key reforms in the coming years.
"For 2 years we have been implementing the Unified Electronic System of the Social Sphere. We completely remove the human factor and bureaucracy, automate all processes, build online data exchange, and centralize accruals so that social payments are appointed quickly and accurately, "said Vice Prime Minister for Innovation, Education Development, Science and Technology - Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov.
According to the Vice Prime Minister, this will save billions for the state and most importantly, make all social services convenient and accessible for everyone.
UISSS is one of the greatest digital projects in Ukraine! It should be noted that the solutions and concepts underlying it are based on the successful experience of automating the processes of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, which in practice have proved their effectiveness.
"The introduction of the system allows us to lay a reliable foundation for digital services and thereby implement intuitive, simple services for citizens, in general, make the social sphere as effective, transparent and convenient as possible," said Konstiantyn Koshelenko, Deputy Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalization.
Some social services are already successfully working in Diia:
- A digital pension certificate is present in the application of 1.2 million Ukrainians
- 5 million citizens downloaded certificates of insurance and seniority
- pension services were used more than 100 thousand times
- eMaliatko allowed registering more than 400 thousand babies
We are proud that we actively cooperate with the Government of Ukraine in the creation of modern IT platforms, in particular, that the Pension Fund of Ukraine calculates pensions using a comprehensive IT system created by "Medirent" specialists. After all, the company has been automating the activities of the Fund since 1998. Today it is extremely important for us to work on projects similar to the UISSS. We understand that this information system has the potential to change the lives of many Ukrainians for the better.
