As part of the regional events of the Ministry of Social Policy “Digitalization of Social Services: Case Management as a Key Tool”, we presented the new functionality to representatives of social protection agencies and social service providers in Zakarpattia and Kyiv regions.
What does electronic case management change?
The introduction of electronic case management aims to simplify access to social services.
For recipients of social services:
- Convenience: the ability to submit an application or appeal online simplifies access to services. There is no need for personal visits, which saves time and resources.
- Transparency: tracking the status of an application in real time allows you to receive updated information without unnecessary requests.
For social work professionals:
- Process optimization: Automation of documentation facilitates case management and activity planning, allowing you to better focus on working with citizens.
For social service providers:
- Effective work: Reducing time for reporting and controlling team workload helps to improve coordination, productivity and quality of service delivery.
For social protection agencies:
- Speeding up processes: simplifying the processing of applications and documentation speeds up the response to requests and improves the quality of service.
We remind you that beta testing of the functionality on the Unified Information System of the Social Sphere (UISSS) platform began in July and covers four pilot regions: Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovs'k, Poltava and Cherkasy regions. Upon completion of the beta testing, it is planned to expand the implementation to other regions, as well as further improve the system based on the feedback received.
To help users effectively use the new functionality and ensure fast and high-quality interaction, the Medirent team, as the developer of UISSS, shared useful life hacks for working in the system.
Electronic case management is undoubtedly an important step forward in the digitalization of social services. It provides convenience, efficiency, and transparency for all participants in the process, which will ultimately improve the quality and accessibility of social services.
